Alright. It's 5AM and I'm bored and don't want to go to sleep yet. I'm sure no one really cares, but I'm gonna update my journal from that horribly depressing murder story to a simple update of what's going on with me.

I leave for boot camp on April 12th. After that I'll be in Charleston South Carolina for A-School for about 2 years. That's about as far ahead as I know, and I don't really know what kind of experience I'm in for, though my buddy who just finished boot camp is really enjoying the whole thing so far.

I live in a small town, and I graduated high school 2 and a half years ago. So being home kind of sucks right now. The kids in high school are now too young to hang out with really (unless I'm gonna be THAT guy), and the kids that graduated are all away at school. I have no car, so traveling to visit people or just go to the nearest city or whatever (I live in a small town, but it's not very far away from some interesting stuff I suppose) is a bit of a hassle. I'm just kind of working, working out and playing XBox (which, with Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 right around the corner, isn't necessarily a bad thing).

That's about where I'm at right now. Excited to leave for boot camp (even though it's still SO far away), nervous about A-School (my recruiter tells me the nuke program is one of the most academically rigorous programs in the country... and I just failed out of a state school), and bored and lonely doing just about nothing in my town.

Guess it's time to increase my gallery. Sorry for that in advance. I've been messing with some ideas lately, just trying to figure out how I want to execute them. So yeah, if anyone actually reads this, you should comment and let me know because I would be quite amused to know that I'm not talking to myself right now.
